This
is a wonderful combination of language study and core classes. Students
will take the lecture portion of BIO 202 in the spring semester (2016)
here on campus. In Costa Rica in May, students will study Spanish in the
morning at our language school for 4 weeks (AU in CR program for six
hours). The last 2 weeks (and weekend trips) Professor Merrill Tawse will
conduct the BIO 202 lab onsite in Costa Rica.
We
are very excited about this program, but we do need a minimum number
for it to happen. Any student who is interested in fulfilling a core
Science course in an extremely hands-on, interesting way should apply. The Spanish classes, of course, fulfill the GPS requirement.
